You have a ministry. It is the ministry of reconciliation which Paul tells us about in 2 Corinthians 5:18;  Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,”.  This is not just reconciling people to salvation, but also to everything that God has provided for us in Christ.  Just as Christ has reconciled us to himself we now have the joy through prayer of reconciling people to who they are in Christ!

When we see people who are struggling in an area of their lives, what are we to do as Christians? We are to pray for them and stay in prayer for them until we see them walking in victory in that area of their life. In prayer, you lay hold of God’s promises and you lay hold of that person and you stand in the gap until there is no more gap – until that person is complete in Christ in that area.

Ask God to help you see people through His eyes.  We are not struggling with flesh and blood like the world and when we see people after the flesh, we tend to recognize and point out their failings…  however, we are to see people through the eyes of love and love will move you to pray all night for someone.  Philippians 1:9-11 in the Amplified bible is a great scripture to claim as your own.  Your love abounds more and more and extends to its fullest development, and you abound in and are filled with the fruits of righteousness.  Agree with God about who you are!

This is a ministry that God has entrusted to you in the earth. Let’s look at people with eyes of compassion and pray for them when we see a problem – and our faith in God for them will activate His power in their lives for victory!
