In Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, it tells us that two are better than one. For if one falls the other is there to help keep him up and a threefold cord is not easily broken.
This is the picture of agreement. We can help hold each other in faith. This is powerful! We see in Matthew 18:19 that when we agree about anything that we ask, we shall receive.
Let’s make sure that we take advantage of this powerful tool of God’s word. We can come together and agree. Make sure you ask the right questions, so you are sure you’re both are in agreement, and then...
Have you ever had someone tell you, “don’t worry” or “just cast your cares on the Lord”? It sounds so simple but how do you do that? Do you just go to God and say, “I cast my care on you!” and automatically everything is great? In the world today we have many opportunities to worry and fret and have anxiety, so what are we to do?
I love what God does in scripture. He tells us not to do something and then tells us what to do.
We see several places in scripture where we are told not to worry–it doesn’t just show up once. Take a look at Matthew 6:25-34, Philippians 4:6-8 and...
Obedience Creates an Atmosphere for Miracles.
When you are obedient, life just runs smoother. As a parent, when your children are obedient, everything is easier for everyone!
When we obey God and do what He says, His plans and purposes come to pass in our lives and in the lives of the people we are to connect with and influence.
As you obey God in His written word and in what He ministers to your heart, people will be saved, healed, delivered, and set free! In Acts 10:38 we see how Jesus’ constant obedience to God impacted how he ministered.
“How God anointed Jesus...
You have a ministry. It is the ministry of reconciliation which Paul tells us about in 2 Corinthians 5:18; “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,”. This is not just reconciling people to salvation, but also to everything that God has provided for us in Christ. Just as Christ has reconciled us to himself we now have the joy through prayer of reconciling people to who they are in Christ!
When we see people who are struggling in an area of their lives, what are we to do as Christians? We are...
I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit in my life.
When Jesus finished His work, He told the disciples it was better that He go away and He would send us another comforter, the Holy Spirit, who would be with us and live IN us (John 14:16). Can you imagine what they thought at that moment? What could be better than having Jesus right there!?
Now we know how amazing that was – Jesus performed what He promised. He did send us another Comforter, and the Holy Spirit does lives in us! 1 Corinthians 3:16 says “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit...
Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them.”
When you pray, you believe something…when you pray the Prayer of Faith, you believe something. What is it that you believe? You believe you receive! When do you do that? When you pray!
The action of faith IN the Prayer of Faith, is ASKING and BELIEVING you receive when you pray.
How does faith come or how is it is awakened? By hearing – and hearing by the Word of God. So, before you ask and believe, feed on scripture which will awaken your faith...
