“I’m following the leader, The leader, The leader, I’m following the leader, Wherever He goes.”— Peter Pan
Have you ever found yourself in a situation and thought to yourself — “I followed the wrong leader”…? Maybe you chose the wrong lane, followed the wrong car, or maybe more seriously; you followed the wrong friends or the wrong boss. We all have leaders in our lives for different things. Some we unconsciously chose, some are chosen for us, and some we have chosen to follow.
Who are you following today?

I am so thankful for the Holy Spirit in my life.
When Jesus finished His work, He told the disciples it was better that He go away and He would send us another comforter, the Holy Spirit, who would be with us and live IN us (John 14:16). Can you imagine what they thought at that moment? What could be better than having Jesus right there!?
Now we know how amazing that was – Jesus performed what He promised. He did send us another Comforter, and the Holy Spirit does lives in us! 1 Corinthians 3:16 says “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit...
When Jesus was revealed as the Christ in Matthew 16:18, He immediately declared His purpose for the Church Age (2000 years from the birth of Christ until he is to return for the Church). He said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it”… I believe this is the Greatest Commission of all – everything else fits under this.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:10,
“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds...
A common prayer in the body of Christ is “God, we need more of Your power!”, or “God send your fire, send your power!”. Growing up going to youth conferences as a teenager and now working with youth, I hear this all the time – and it is a genuine desire in young people to experience God’s power. How can we experience God’s power to ignite revival in this generation?
We can agree that the early Church were some of the most “on fire” believers in the history of the Church. Recorded in the book of Acts, we can see how the gospel spread with signs, wonders and miracles confirming...
Happy New Year!A New Year can bring new possibilities. If you are a steady and growing person, then keep doing the things that have kept you on this path. But also, reach out for more. Challenge yourself. If you find yourself in trouble often, then 2019 is a year to make some new choices that will keep you out of trouble. God is always available to help and so are we if we can. We aren’t omniscient or omnipresent like He is, but sometimes we can help.I want to encourage you to Reflect on 2018 and before. Reflection is necessary to get the most out of an experience. We all have...
As we come to the close of another year, we all want to wish you the very best Christmas with family, friends and your local church. We celebrate the birth of Jesus and all that means to us and God’s plan for mankind.
Christmas isn’t the happiest event for everyone on this planet though. With broken relationships and families, holidays can be painful and not the easiest of times. Let’s look out for people like this during the holidays, it’s an excellent opportunity to share the love of Christ.
One of the beauties of the church today is that we are the Body of Christ. That means we are...
Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them.”
When you pray, you believe something…when you pray the Prayer of Faith, you believe something. What is it that you believe? You believe you receive! When do you do that? When you pray!
The action of faith IN the Prayer of Faith, is ASKING and BELIEVING you receive when you pray.
How does faith come or how is it is awakened? By hearing – and hearing by the Word of God. So, before you ask and believe, feed on scripture which will awaken your faith...
We all have a story, and if you’re reading this article my guess is that your story includes being radically changed by Jesus. God revealed Himself to you in the most wonderful way and you gave your life to follow Him somewhere along the timeline of your life. How wonderful! But did you know that God wants more than being born again for your life. He wants us to be conformed to the image of His Son, walking in authority, free of sickness and guilt and shame and fear. He wants us to walk and live like we’re the new creation that we have been made.
This may come...
When you hear, “Christian Influencer”, many thoughts may come to your mind. Whether they are positive or negative, those thoughts have the ability to shape how you perceive others and ultimately, yourself.
INFLUENCE; the capacity or power of persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc of others.
I see a few things in this definition. When you have an influence you have power, and you can produce an effect on the actions of others. You can even shape the opinions of others, which can lead to the beliefs of others. This is...
